A few words about Breathwork
Through specific breathing techniques, we can induce various states in our system, including calmness, alertness, clarity, balance, and more. In our session, we will practice circular connected breathing, a technique that aims to balance our nervous system.
During this process, the body enters a state of safety through a steady breathing rhythm, thus activating its involuntary functions. During the session, forgotten emotions that had been ‘put aside’ due to a lack of suitable conditions to experience them at the time they arose may be expressed. Memories, images, and various sensations may be recalled, some easy and some difficult.
A few words about Sound Therapy
According to research, the soothing and resonant sounds of Tibetan bowls have the power to positively influence the listener’s neurology and psychology. These sounds synchronize with brain frequencies, facilitating entry into states of deep relaxation where the senses turn inward and the body enters a phase of rest and recovery. This state helps us to be receptive and opens the door to creativity, intuition, memory, learning, and self-healing.
The use of the voice through the techniques we will use brings multiple benefits to the human body, as it activates the vagus nerve, strengthening the parasympathetic system associated with relaxation. This has a beneficial effect on our body, as it reduces the breathing rate, improving the function of the heart and lungs. At the hormonal level, it reduces cortisol in the body, which is the stress hormone, while enhancing the secretion of hormones associated with joy, euphoria, security, and connection.
We look forward to seeing you!
